Head of Sales

About the Role:

As our Head of Enterprise Sales, you will be responsible for defining and executing our enterprise sales strategy. This is a hands-on role where you will lead from the front, building and mentoring a high-performing sales team while also managing key accounts.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive enterprise sales strategy aligned with company objectives
  • Identify, target, and close strategic enterprise accounts
  • Build and manage a high-performing enterprise sales team, including hiring, training, and mentoring
  • Develop and refine our sales process, including lead generation, qualification, proposal development, negotiation, and closing
  • Create accurate sales forecasts and manage the sales pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at target accounts
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and the competitive landscape
  • Report regularly on sales performance and key metrics

Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in enterprise sales, preferably in the cloud native space
  • Experience building and managing high-performing sales teams
  • Strong understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and complex deal structures
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders  
  • Data-driven and analytical with a strong understanding of sales metrics
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, early-stage environment
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field preferred
