We’re looking for a bold and innovative Producer to work on current and upcoming Live Events and features in Pokémon GO. Live Events are a true extension of Niantic products and highlight our core pillars of exploration, exercise, and real-world social. This role would support the execution of major events such as Pokémon GO Fest, Pokémon GO Tour, and Pokémon GO Safari Zones. The ideal candidate would be an authentic Pokémon GO fan who has experience producing large scale events and managing concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

  • Support quarterly/annual Pokémon GO live events aligned to OKRs, key campaigns, and business goals, in close partnership with game designers live-events and marketing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to coordinate real world live events reaching 5,000 to 300,000 players as well as global in-app events reaching millions.
  • Lead aspects of technical support and QA coordination to ensure live events are properly set up and thoroughly tested before launching.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with brand partners, navigating approval hurdles to successfully land a cohesive end product.
  • Engage with the team leadership to keep them informed of current live event statuses as well as presenting data-driven results and recaps.
  • Break down multifaceted issues into workable components to guide projects from creation to launch.
  • Work with engineers, designers and artists to bring features to market.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members and stakeholders, including regular and reliable attendance and participation in meetings.
  • Required in-office 2 days on Wednesday and Thursday.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience producing a live service mobile game.
  • You have collaborated on the growth of a live product or service.
  • You are able to demonstrate extraordinary organization, communication, thoroughness, and leadership skills while working on cross-functional teams (design, engineering, production, etc.).
  • You have an interest or excitement about AR and mobile games.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice.
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications.
  • You love Pokémon GO.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced hybrid environment and handle stress appropriately and/or ability to solve practical problems and be sufficiently adaptable to handle dynamic situations with little advance notice. 
  • Experience working on cross-functional teams with ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal communications, including synchronous interactions with others.

The total compensation package for this position includes a new hire offer base salary range of $109,000 - $133,350 + bonus + equity + benefits.

Individual pay within this salary range is determined by work location and additional factors, including assessed job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
