Working with the Digital Film Transfers Operations team, the DFT Film Scanning Tech will be responsible for organizing and digitally scanning film media at NFL Films in Mount Laurel, NJ. In addition, this individual will be using DaVinci Resolve to transcode, catalog, QC, and render digital media. This is a contract position for a multi-year project.
Essential Functions:
Digital scanning of film library
Transcoding of media
Cataloging of media
Working with Media Management to properly archive material
Required Education and Experience:
BA/BS and experience in a production/post-production facility
Professional experience with non-linear editing systems; DaVinci Resolve 14 or higher preferred
Experience with multiple digital media file types and codecs, including working knowledge of frame rates, resolutions, and aspect ratios
Possession of strong computer skills on both Mac and PC systems
Preferred Education and Experience:
Experience handling 16mm film
Knowledge of football and/or the NFL
Familiarity with Resolve Database Server and/or Linux OS

Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
Capable of working in a team environment, as well as independently
Ability to follow comprehensive instructions
Strict attention to detail is a must
Ability to work non-standard hours
