JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing production-related planning, logistics, and budgets for NFL Media. They collaborate with various departments to ensure strategic planning and decision-making regarding budgetary and operational execution. The Production Manager plays a crucial role in coordinating Remote, Original Content, Digital Media, and Studio productions, while maintaining effective communication and fostering collaboration across teams

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily studio production logistics such and production schedules, technical staffing, end of day production reporting, and facilitate proper communication between the Crew, Production and Production Management department.
  • Participate in strategic planning for NFL Media's content departments, including budget development and coordination for various types of productions.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments (NFL Media Production, HR, Finance, etc.) to ensure compliance with policies and effectively communicate policy changes.
  • Maintain accurate reporting and forecasting of production-related budgets, identifying risks and opportunities for senior management.
  • Foster collaboration with Production and Operations teams and external entities to maximize efficiencies for various content productions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communication or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in production management as a Production Coordinator or above, preferably in a network or production company.
  • Experience managing a team, with strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office products and other relevant software tools. Knowledge of Oracle, Kronos and Concur is beneficial.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior production experience, with knowledge of sports and entertainment, is preferred.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • 40 hours a week; must be available for early mornings or late nights. Some weekends, and holidays as needed.

$2,200$2,500 USD
