What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Product Manager for AI within our DSP, you will leverage your expertise in data-driven software solutions to build and enhance AI-powered features that improve campaign performance, user experience, and platform intelligence. You will collaborate closely with engineering, data science, product management, marketing, sales, and customer teams to identify key opportunities, define product requirements, and bring these AI capabilities to life. Your role will involve working across the product lifecycle— from concept to execution— while ensuring that AI tools are aligned with customer needs and business goals.

This role is based in our New York or Baltimore office, where we follow a hybrid schedule of 3x per week in the office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive AI Innovation within the DSP: Lead the development and enhancement of AI-driven features within the DSP platform to improve the user experience and improve campaign performance. Champion AI’s role in solving customer challenges and enhancing overall platform functionality.
  • Platform Expertise & Client Interaction: Act as a DSP and AI expert, collaborating with internal stakeholders and customers to capture business requirements, validate use cases, and provide solutions that align with user needs.
  • Product Roadmap & Prioritization: Define the product roadmap for AI initiatives, setting clear milestones and success metrics. Collaborate with leadership and engineering to prioritize AI-driven product features and ensure alignment with business goals and customer needs.
  • Requirement Documentation: Write detailed user stories and define requirements for new AI-powered features. Ensure that AI tools integrate seamlessly with the DSP platform.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead agile development teams, managing sprint planning, feature prioritization, grooming sessions, and backlog management. Work closely with product design, engineering, and data science teams to deliver high-quality AI features.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Customer teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new AI-powered features and products.
  • Voice of the Customer: Be an advocate for the customer. Continuously gather customer feedback to inform the development of AI features that meet evolving user needs.
  • Release Management & Documentation: Oversee smooth feature release processes, ensuring release notes, user documentation, and AI-specific training materials are prepared. Provide ongoing support post-launch to address customer queries and issues.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required. Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a degree in a related field a plus.
  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on AI, machine learning, or data-driven products in the advertising technology space (preferably in DSP or programmatic advertising).
  • Strong understanding of AI and machine learning principles, particularly in their application to ad tech platforms.
  • Experience working with engineering and data science teams to deliver AI-powered solutions.
  • Strong understanding of programmatic advertising technologies, including DSP, DMP, and SSP systems.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from data, user feedback, and market trends.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills with engineering, design, data science, marketing, sales, and customer teams to deliver innovative products that meet customer needs.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership and customers.
  • Ability to influence and drive consensus among diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Self-starter, biased toward action, detail, punctuality, and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, setting clear priorities and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to navigate competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
