We’re looking for a strategic and experienced Sr. Director, Barter Partnerships to oversee all aspects of our barter relationships.  The ideal candidate will have a strong background in navigating the intricacies of barter agreements, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving growth in a similar role.

This role reports directly into Nexxen’s Chief Revenue Officer and will be based in the New York office. Our team follows a hybrid schedule working in-office three days a week and remotely for the rest.        

Each day can be different here at Nexxen, but some of the things you can expect to be doing daily are:

  • Management of holding company owned and independent barter agency relationships.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to scale existing partnerships and land new
  • Leverage Nexxen’s flexible end-to-end technology stack and differentiated offerings to build deeper partnerships
  • Lead and manage the internal communications regarding existing agreements. This includes providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Collaborate with Nexxen’s Agency Development, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Legal teams to maximize the value from our Barter partnerships.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management on Barter performance and initiatives.

What Will I Bring?

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing barter relationships within a media or ad-tech company
  • Strong knowledge and experience building and negotiating barter agreement frameworks
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
  • Proven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve business targets.
  • Experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable with data, and telling a story with data
  • Well-rounded knowledge of the AdTech Ecosystem
  • Ability to successfully execute across teams and garner respect from internal/external stakeholders
