Pay range: $70+ per hour depending on experience.
The News Revenue Hub is seeking a contract data analyst to aid in audience and donor analysis efforts across dozens of newsrooms. This work will be on a project-by-project basis, initially requiring 10-20 hours a month. The data analyst will have experience in advanced data analysis, including regression analysis and compound growth calculations.
The data analyst will help Hub staff perform research by analyzing key performance metrics. The data analyst must have a high degree of integrity and discretion, and must be willing to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
As data analyst, your chief responsibilities will include:
- Perform data collection and analysis across dozens of newsrooms to help the Hub understand how they are performing in revenue and audience
- Synthesize findings into written reports.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience in advanced data analysis and statistics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working in journalism a plus
