Software Development Department

The software development department handles all aspects of delivery related to designing, building and maintaining our custom software applications and services - everything that it takes to turn an idea into working software and delivering value to our users. The department is structured into cross-functional, self-organizing teams that work together on projects, short and long, alongside product managers, designers and key business stakeholders.

About the Role

At NewGlobe, our teams are organizing and autonomous cross-functional - meaning that a given software development team is responsible for everything needed to deliver a product, from design through deployment into production. We are actively seeking a talented and experienced Technical Project Manager to empower and evolve cross-team and cross-department collaboration on a wide variety of projects and topics. The new Technical Project Manager will act as a liaison between various stakeholders, ensuring clarity, efficiency and predictability to the projects in their scope.

This role reports to the VP of Software Development, but will also work closely with the IT Operations teams and be an important connector between departments.

What You Will Do 

  • Manage a portfolio of projects throughout their  life cycle, ensuring the teams successfully reach as defined by adherence to standards of scope, budget, and timelines
  • Develop comprehensive project plans that merge stakeholder requirements with company goals and coordinate all project phases from initial development through implementation
  • Monitor project progress continuously and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items, such as milestones and deliverables
  • Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and return-on-investment standards
  • Act as a liaison between various stakeholders making sure “everyone speaks the same language” 
  • Update and maintain all technology related documentation, ensuring accurate their accuracy

What You Should Have

  • At least 2 years of experience as in a similar Technical Project Manager role
  • Expertise in IT Project Management
  • Knowledge of various project management and software delivery methodologies 
  • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies and methods
  • Experience working in a high pace,  collaborative environment, promoting a teamwork mentality
  • Experience with risk assessment and management
