The Role
Reporting to the Head of Operations, you would have the opportunity to spearhead the growth and proactively contribute to our New Zealand launch initiatives. You will be responsible for the P&L of the NZ business. You will raise the opportunities and concerns of the market and set the priorities that will grow Neuron in the country. The role demands principled thinking, deep understanding of New Zealand’s mobility needs and user behavior. The ideal candidate has built and led a team before and is highly motivated to make Neuron a resounding success!

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute Neuron’s growth strategy country-wide. 
  • Contribute to our new market entry strategy by leading fact-based market assessment including market sizing, local regulatory review and competitive analysis. 
  • Work with our global team to secure rights to operate in local markets by working with local regulators/city councils. 
  • Responsible for the successful launch of Neuron in the new cities by leading the operational strategy and supply-chain.
  • Lead and manage city operations
  • Hire, lead and inspire a team of ambitious, collaborative and fun people as part of the local operations team during launch
  • Form and strengthen strategic local partnerships to strengthen our offerings and accelerate the sustainable transport transformation of the region
  • Participate in events and talks to share our mission locally. 

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, finance or equivalent 
  • 3-6  years of experience in Management Consulting/Investment Banking or related experience in high-growth start-ups 
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Agility to excel in a constantly changing and rapidly growing workplace
  • A keen interest in shared mobility and a growth mindset is essential to this role
