The Role
We’re looking to grow our Ground Patroller, Operations Driver and Warehouse Technician teams in Brisbane. There will be different shifts through all hours of the day, including morning, afternoon, and evening shifts during weekdays and weekends. An ideal candidate would be someone who can work for a minimum of 20 to a maximum of 38 hours per week. Please note that all roles are physically demanding and require frequent lifting and moving of scooters. 

Ground Patroller

What you'll do:

  • Report to operations supervisor for the shift
  • Ride on a scooter to specified zones and replace batteries on designated scooters
  • Restock helmets on scooters 
  • Implementing and safeguarding quality control (and occasionally, basic maintenance) on the scooters
  • Ensuring the timely retrieval and deployment of scooters at designated stations to support consumer demand
  • Ensuring timely pick up of assigned scooters from consolidation areas and assist Drivers with parking station top ups
  • Performing ad hoc tasks of retrieval, troubleshooting, testing and solving scooters that are assigned through the central communications platform
  • Patrol and move any poorly parked scooters back to parking stations
  • Redistribution of scooters from low demand zones to high demand zones
  • Represent Neuron as a positive brand ambassador

What you'll need:

  • High-energy individual with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Capable in route navigation 
  • Passionate about delivering a seamless customer experience 
  • Any mobility/logistics/transportation experience is advantageous
  • Be comfortable with lifting up to 26kgs during the work shift 


Operations Driver

What you'll do:

  • Report to operations supervisor for the shift
  • Drive to specified zones and replace batteries on designated scooters 
  • Retrieve scooters that are outside the operating zone
  • Ensuring the timely retrieval and deployment of scooters at designated stations to support consumer demand
  • Ensuring timely pick up of assigned scooters from consolidation areas 
  • Focus on large scooter retrievals
  • Performing ad hoc tasks of retrieval, troubleshooting, testing and solving scooters that are assigned through the central communications platform
  • Patrol and move any poorly parked scooters back to parking stations
  • Redistribution of scooters from low demand zones to high demand zones
  • Represent Neuron as a positive brand ambassador

What you'll need:

  • Certified Driving License
  • High-energy individual with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communicative skills 
  • Experience driving vans/lorry with a clean driving record
  • Capable in route navigation 
  • Passionate about delivering a seamless customer experience 
  • Any mobility/logistics/transportation experience is advantageous
  • Be comfortable with lifting up to 26kgs during the work shift 

Additional responsibilities, duties and expectations:

  • Working outdoors under various weather conditions 
  • Move and lift scooters safely and responsibly throughout the day
  • Work safely and responsibly with Battery swapping and charging 
  • Work safely and responsibly with electrical systems 
  • Assist with loading and unloading of operational vans
  • Search for scooters 
  • Train/help/motivate other team members 
  • Comply and practice safe working etiquettes 
  • Align to health and safety expectations 
  • Use smartphone Apps to fulfill daily duties
  • Capable of riding an electric scooter


Warehouse Technician

What you'll do:

  • Report to warehouse supervisor for the shift
  • Able to service and repair electric scooters
  • Identify critical parts that need improvements and ensure the fleet is in safe working condition 
  • Perform mandatory safety checks on the fleet before it is deployed to the streets 
  • Safely swapping of Batteries and on-site maintenance of scooters ensuring  quality control is met at all times
  • Assist the product and engineering team with field testing on new innovations and features 
  • Represent Neuron as a positive brand ambassador

What you'll need:

  • High-energy individual with a solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Driven individual with mechanical engineering and/or logistics background
  • Prior experience in bike mechanics or e-scooter is advantageous
  • Be comfortable with lifting up to 26kgs during the work shift
