The Shipping and Receiving Team serves as a crucial support system for the engineers and scientists at Neuralink, enhancing the overall employee experience. This team is integral to the operational success of one of the most talented teams in the world, ensuring that logistical needs are met efficiently.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will play a vital role in enabling Neuralink to achieve its ambitious timelines and goals. We are looking for a cross functional team player who can comfortably communicate across teams. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with experts across various engineering disciplines, including software, mechanical, electrical, materials, biology, and neuroscience. This position requires a proactive, adaptable individual who is resourceful and able to be handy. Additional job responsibilities will include:
- Accurately processing, packaging, and shipping domestic and international orders, including scheduling courier pickups and deliveries
- Inspecting products for defects and damages
- Appropriately receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items
- Verifying and uploading packing slips and file invoices
- Ensuring the shipping and receiving facility is clean and organized daily
- Assisting the Operations Manager with daily operations such as ordering items and assembling furniture
Required Qualifications:
- High School or GED diploma
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks
- Physical ability to lift or move heavy products
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in shipping and receiving
- Forklift certification
- DOT certification
- CPR/First aid certification
Pay Transparency:
The following details are for Texas individuals only.
Texas Hourly Rate Range:
$17.31-$26.44/hr USD
