As a member of the Animal Care Team at Neuralink, you will construct highly innovative housing designs that allow our animals to access their natural behaviors and joy! You will tackle a wide array of challenges from hardware that the animals interact with to equipment that allows our team to move as quickly as possible. Engineering breadth and creative problem solving are key abilities to succeed in this role. You will get to own projects from concept to production, utilizing your mechanical engineering background to build innovative animal housing that ensures great animal welfare. The role involves collaboration with animal behaviorists, neuroscientists, and engineers to determine design criteria and build systems quickly and effectively.
You find large challenges exciting and enjoy discovering and defining problems as much as solving them.
You deliver by being extremely handy! You may enjoy thoughtful conversations about problems and perfecting designs, but in the end, you know that what matters is efficient output.
