The Systems Engineer 3 is a member of the NeueHealth Infrastructure and Security team. The role is responsible for infrastructure services and IT services. This role is responsible for deployment, monitoring, maintenance, security, development, upgrades and support of systems within our environment. This role will focus on system design, support, and management technology operations. This position requires strong technical and communication skills to partner with IT teams to develop, implement, and optimize, and maintain systems. Our client is all NeueHealth business operations and associated affiliates. You will be a part of the team that directly and indirectly supports them. As a department we have a philosophy of all hands-on-deck. We do not shy away from large or small tasks, many of which often happen behind the scenes. 

Preferred locations for applicants are CA, AZ, MN, TX & FL.

Responsibilities

  • Build, administer and maintain Windows Server environment.
  • Building and maintaining cloud resources, primarily in Microsoft Azure.
  • Work closely with our Data Team and assist with Microsoft Power and SQL administration.
  • Oversee Office 365 administration, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Teams.
  • Provide advanced technical support to resolve complex IT issues related to Azure, Intune, and Office 365. Collaborate with the IT support team to address user inquiries and incidents.
  • Schedule, install, and test system software upgrades. Automate where possible.
  • Identify technical issues within our Azure environment and build solutions to solve those issues
  • Work closely with our Network Engineering Team to deliver great system performance for our users.
  • Work with Security Department to build solutions that will comply with SOX and HIPAA requirements.
  • Establish and maintain documentation for our Azure environment.
  • Perform system maintenance tasks, such as system back-up, recovery and file maintenance.
  • Handle escalated tickets from services helpdesk involving owned systems.
  • Responsible for the execution of IT strategy including hitting deadlines and achieving goals.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including network engineers, security specialists, and application developers, to ensure the seamless integration of cloud services with on-premises systems.
  • Monitor resource utilization and performance metrics, proactively identifying and addressing capacity and performance issues.

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s or associate degree (Ideally in Technology or Security), or relevant work experience
  • 5+ years’ experience in system administration, with a strong emphasis on Azure, Intune, and Office 365 management.
  • 5+ years’ experience in compute, storage, networking, databases, monitoring, backups/recovery, automation, and end user technologies.
  • Proven experience in scripting and automation, using tools such as PowerShell
  • Experience with Github, Terraform, and other Infrastructure as a Code (IaaC) resources a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

For individuals assigned to a location(s) in California, NeueHealth is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on the applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity. A reasonable estimate of the range is $96,255-$144,383 annually.
