Systems Analysts/ Systems Architects (SASAs) are responsible for engineering functional aspects of the software or hardware architecture/ system and providing analysis. SASAs shall analyze business processes and services to determine how people, processes, data, communications, and technology can best accomplish the requirements of the SIGDEV mission. In this role, you will be providing system support to Linux-based systems. Part of the effort will include installing patches, tracking compliance notifications, and helping with the security plan updates. You will also assist developers with adding new servers, as needed. TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance.
Five (5) years of general experience as a systems analyst supporting engineering design, communication applications on complex information systems, database management, and knowledge of storage and retrieval methods. A bachelor's degree in engineering or computer science may be substituted for four (4) years of general experience as a systems analyst.
Experience with Linux systems administration using a variety of versions (old and new).
Knowledge of computer operating systems, hardware, and software.
Demonstrated experience with standard admin support (create/manage accounts, version upgrades, IAVA patches, etc.).
Knowledge of security hardening procedures for Linux.
Experience with VM environments of various operating systems with tool augmentation.
