As we continue our rapid global expansion, we are seeking a Senior Global Mobility Specialist to administer mobility policies and practices across our locations in the Americas region. The position is part of the Global Mobility Solutions(“GMS”) department and will report to the Director of Global Mobility. GMS is focused on providing a best-in-class candidate/employee experience for transferees. AMT is committed to building processes that deliver a seamless and positive candidate/employee experience across all aspects of Global Mobility. The position will be in the U.S. as a remote position. You will collaborate closely with key HR and regional business leaders and provide immigration, relocation, and other mobility-related consultation and support.

We are looking for a candidate who approaches stakeholders with a creative and consultative mindset. You should be highly organized, experienced, and adept at collaborating and problem-solving. As a player-coach, you should be able to dive into the details of employee needs and company processes while effectively communicating and escalating issues and opportunities.

Key Job Duties:

  • Serve as subject matter expert and consultant to Employees, Candidates, Talent Acquisition, HR and key stakeholders, leveraging industry knowledge and acquired experience.
  • Enhance, design, and implement scalable immigration and mobility processes working with global and regional stakeholders.
  • Partner with immigration and mobility service providers to design processes that will ensure SLAs are adhered to, end user experience is frustration free, and produce compliant solutions.
  • Initiate and manage all assigned cases, monitoring status, next steps and deadlines to deliver a high-quality end user experience.
  • Drive key internal immigration programs/projects including but not limited to H-1B Cap; Employment-Based Permanent Residency applications in the U.S. and Canada; the LMIA work permit application in Canada; Internal Education; Template Design; and escalation protocols.
  • Follow internal case management protocols to ensure invoices match case initiations and fee card.
  • Execute and implement Global Mobility policies and processes; identify policy, process and service gaps and provide key input to process and policy improvement.
  • Play a key role in international expansion efforts to ensure compliance with immigration, tax, and employment regulations for all countries that NetEase has operations in the region.
  • Act as the primary resource and subject matter expert on all aspects of global immigration, including visas, work permits, permanent residency processes and timelines.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a global company in corporate in-house global mobility and immigration administration.
  • Strong knowledge of global immigration laws, processes, and changes in immigration, relocation, and mobility taxation.
  • Advantageous to have 4-6 years of Immigration experience with expert level knowledge of PERM Regulations and Process; I-9 Regulations; NIV Regulations, DACA; Business Traveler Regulations; Canadian LMIA; and Pending State and Local Legislation
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
  • Enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
  • English proficiency is required.
  • GPHR or GMS certificate is a plus.

Compensation Range:

USD: $90,000 - $160,000; CAD: $73,000 - $130,000

 

The expected annual base pay ranges reflected in this job description are applicable to individuals residing in or working within a designated location. Any final compensation offer will depend on various factors. As part of an overall package, NetEase employees can take advantage of NetEase's comprehensive benefits and discretionary incentive plans, provided that they comply with the policies and guidelines governing those programs.
