We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Junior Agile Lead to support and grow within our Agile team based in Prague. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of Agile methodologies and a passion for teamwork and continuous improvement. This role offers the opportunity to develop your leadership skills in Agile practices and project management.

 

The main responsibilities for this role are:

Agile Facilitation and Team Support:

  • Assist in facilitating Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives;
  • Ensure Agile principles are followed within the team;
  • Keep stakeholders informed about project progress, risks, and team practices;
  • Help identify and remove impediments for the team;
  • Foster a collaborative and open environment for idea-sharing and problem-solving.

Backlog Management, Continuous Improvement,Documentation and Reporting:

  • Work with the Product Owner to ensure the backlog is well-prioritized and groomed;
  • Ensure the team understands the scope and requirements of tasks and user stories;
  • Promote a culture of learning by helping the team reflect and enhance their processes;
  • Track performance metrics to identify areas for improvement;
  • Maintain project documentation, such as sprint plans, burndown charts, and retrospectives;
  • Provide regular status updates to management and stakeholders.

 

We expect the candidates to bring:

  • 1-2 years working in an Agile environment (Scrum Master or Agile Coach roles preferred);
  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban);
  • Familiarity with tools like JIRA, Trello, or Asana;
  • Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC);
  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., ScrumMaster, Agile Certified Practitioner) [nice to have];
  • Professional and academic experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. [nice to have];
  • Fluency in English language.
