About the project:
As a Senior Software Engineer, your duties include finding and implementing solutions for issues, creating new software or applications by writing code, using visual development environments to debug, and ensuring the technical architecture runs smoothly. A significant aspect of your job is to not only contribute your skills but also mentor other software engineers to improve their skills and productivity.
You will be able to:
- Develop features and improvements to the LeagueApps product in a secure, well-tested, and performant way.
- Work with Product Management and other stakeholders (Backend, UX, etc.) to iterate on new features.
- Craft code that meets our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale web environment. Maintain and advocate for these standards through code review.
- Improve the overall experience of our product by improving the quality of the Frontend features both in your domain and features that benefit other groups.
- Help identify areas of improvement in the code base, both specific to your domain and outside your group (e.g., component library), and help contribute to making it better.
- Learn, collaborate, and teach other Frontend Engineers. Everyone can contribute something new to the team regardless of how long they’ve been in the industry.
- Provide troubleshooting and escalated technical support to production features that involve UI / front-end.
- Contribute to and follow our workflow process, alongside the rest of the Frontend Engineers.
- Research, prototype and advise on new front-end technologies and tools as we evolve our platform tech stack.
- Develop test cases for cross-browser testing, and assist in the QA Engineering process.
What will help you succeed in this role:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ Years of experience working with React.
- 2+ Years of experience working with Git.
- Advanced English Level is required for this role as you will work with US clients. Effective communication in English is essential to deliver the best solutions to our clients and expand your horizons.
