The eLearning Developer supports internal stakeholders in the design, development, and continuous improvement of training and education in support of the Company’s development of learning culture.

The incumbent will support curriculum and training projects through the development of proprietary content and associated learning tools, processes, and policies.

The incumbent supports all areas of business, including Retail Training, Recreation Cannabis Learning, Medical Cannabis Learning, and Corporate Training Initiatives.

 

What you bring to the role: 

  • Post-Secondary Education in Adult Education, or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years’ experience of e-learning development experience.
  • Advanced MS Office Applications
  • Strong knowledge and comfort with the Articulate 360 e-Learning authoring suite including Storyline 360
  • Value-Stream/Process Flow Mapping
  • retail experience, not essential but is considered an asset  

What we want you to do: 

  • understand, collaborate, liaise, and communicate with internal business units to conduct training needs analysis.
  • liaise with stakeholders to transform printed documents, written material, and ideas into storyboards, and realize those storyboards to completion as polished e-learning modules to meet current and future requirements.
  • translate draft materials to storyboards
  • design learning experiences through engaging interactivity and knowledge assessments
  • build documents using HTML coding
  • experience using an LMS based course building tool is a definite asset
  • publish modules for our Learning Management System (SmarterU)
  • create custom certificates of achievement to reward learners
  • refresh learning modules as needed with new content and updates
  • maintain a content library and road-map of all courses and assets on the Learning Management System
  • work with a variety of audio, video, and e-learning authoring tools, including Storyline 360, Rise 360, Studio 360, Peek, Adobe DC Pro, and Audacity
  • create and maintain question banks
