We work alongside Health Canada and licensed producers to help qualifying patients gain access to their license, as well as provide resources and support on using medical cannabis in their day-to-day routine. Our Cannabinoid Therapy Nurse Educators is responsible for nurturing a partnership with their patients to ensure the provision of high-quality medical assessments and educational support; facilitating the patient experience journey, whilst providing a great customer experience.
What you will be doing:
become a vital component of a cannabis-friendly team implementing knowledge of cannabinoid therapy
being active and attentive listener with excellent communication skills,
a strong critical thinker who can confidently make evidence-based decisions
working to benefit the overall health and well-being of your patients.
Educate and advise patients on strain selection, consumption methods, appropriate treatments for corresponding conditions, LP products, availability and pricing
assisting patients with Licensed Producer selection and applications
whilst remaining patient focused, promote the use of LPs by appropriately communicating their service
connect with clients either by phone or email to provide cannabis education and confirm LP selection
strive to stay apprised of medical cannabis information, staying current with anything cannabis related
complying with data integrity and security policies
What you bring:
a Licensed Practical Nurse, in good standing and eligible to practice in the province of Manitoba
Top notch confidentiality
Nursing knowledge of medical cannabis and/or cannabinoid therapy is a strong asset.
Exceptional administrative, time management and organizational skills
Sound judgment and excellent analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills
Proven business acumen and negotiation skills
Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills both written and verbally
