National Access Cannabis (NAC) is a unique health care service provider that specializes in prescribing medical cannabis and provides members with ongoing education and care. We work alongside Health Canada and licensed producers to help qualifying patients gain access to their license, as well as provide resources and support on using medical cannabis in their day-to-day routine. NAC has developed a strong history of effectively delivering secure, safe, and responsible access to legal cannabis for thousands of Canadian patients and our business model will be effectively replicated for the recreational cannabis retail space with a new brand, Meta Cannabis Supply Co (META™).

The Opportunity

The Retail Project Manager will administer and organize various types of projects, including internal departmental projects to highly complex client initiatives. The Project Manager will be responsible for creating milestone schedules, maintaining accurate project plans, and facilitation of project activities. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual that can ensure that each project is completed on time and at or under budget. maintaining status reports and tracking the progress of various matters. This role will deal with daily general duties to support our retail recreational cannabis business, Meta Cannabis Supply Co. This position will report to our VP, Retail Operations.

 What you will do 

  • Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
  • Assign tasks to internal teams and assist with schedule management
  • Make sure that all needs are met as projects evolve
  • Monitor project progress and changes in the project scope, analyze risks and opportunities
  • Act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants
  • Organize meetings between team members, and between team members and clients
  • Create project schedules, maintain accurate project documentation
  • Monitor project progress, budget, hours, etc
  • Serves as operation point of contact for various projects to drive project execution
  • Communicates relevant project information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Performs duties in accordance with our core values of the company in the best interest of the company
  • Professionally communicating with other departments and clients on a regular basis
  • Collaborating with Legal, Real Estate, Retail Operations and Finance teams to ensure proper reporting, up to date files, etc.

 These are the qualifications you should have 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or related experience
  • At least two years of experience in a project management, or similar role in a retail setting
  • A PMP certification is preferred, but not essential
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Project, MS PowerPoint
