The Role:
We are looking for an experienced, strategic, and entrepreneurial Manager, Sales Strategy & Operations to help us support and scale Nacelle's rapidly growing Sales team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can dissect complex datasets and make thoughtful recommendations and action plans. The Manager will be responsible for leading strategic planning initiatives in partnership with the Sales leadership team including quarterly, annual, and long-term planning initiatives, as well as the day-to-day operational and analytical needs of the Sales team.
Responsibilities Include:
- Establish an analytical system to oversee performance in our sales funnel
- Identify areas of opportunity through data and strategizing with the Leadership team to implement (e.g. optimizing our ideal customer profile, building an account scoring/propensity to buy model, identifying sales cycle efficiencies, etc.)
- Partner with Sales Leadership on strategic planning and other revenue-driving initiatives including supporting them with quota and territory planning, pipeline management, and revenue forecasting
- Experience in Sales Ops at a Series Seed, A or B stage
- Weekly Sales forecasting with VP Sales
- Manage Salesforce and vet, integrate and administer related tools in our sales technology stack
- Sales compensation planning and commissions reporting
- Execute ongoing process improvements including creation of clear process documentation and partnership with Sales Training & Enablement on measuring effectiveness of efforts
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years experience in business strategy, analytics, planning, or related Sales/Revenue Operations work experience for a SaaS or technology company at a venture-back SaaS company
- Strong working experience with Salesforce is required (admin is preferred)
- Superior Microsoft Excel financial modeling / Google Spreadsheets and slide presentation skills
- Data / Analytics background
- Experience building and optimizing a "Propensity to Buy" or Account Scoring model
- Experience building forecast models
- Experience building comp plans
