Our Technology team is seeking a working Network Systems Engineer with a friendly personality, positive attitude, and impressive work ethic. Along with strong, current technical skills, we’re looking for someone who’s self-motivated and can lead an all-star team.
Interviews for this opening will be conducted virtually and in-person. This opportunity is a Raleigh-based remote role that requires trips to our data center in Raleigh and occasional travel to our Dallas, TX printing facility. The salary for this role is $120,000.

In a Typical Day, You’d:
- Lead our Systems Administration team.
- Deliver reliable, secure, and highly-available systems.
- Provide end users with infrastructure needed to work efficiently.
- Administer, manage, and provide architectural oversight to a Hybrid On-Premises / Cloud Data Center.
- Manage hardware, software, and licensing costs efficiently.
- Assist with Amazon Web Services (AWS) storage and connectivity needs.
- Provide infrastructure support to the Internal Application Development team.
- Provide research and development insight for N2’s evolving tech needs.
To Land This Gig, You’ll Need To:
- Have knowledge of:
- VMware (Horizon and VSphere).
- Fortinet firewall and switch management.
- Cisco CCNA.
- Tintri Storage Array management.
- Mobile Device Management (MDM) - Kandji / Intune / Azure AD.
- Google Workspace administration.
- Amazon Workspaces administration.
- Have 5+ years experience leading a team.
- Have data center management experience.
- Have scripting and automation experience.
- Be confident making decisions based on your knowledge and training.
- Maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit all-star communication skills.
- Be a quick learner with a desire to grow.
- Be resourceful and adaptable in an environment of change.
- Truly enjoy helping others.
- Have a “We, Not Me” team mentality.
