About the Role
MZ Wallace is seeking a dynamic and driven leader to join our team as Director of Business Development & Growth Strategy. This role will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing new business opportunities, partnerships, and sales channels to drive revenue growth and market expansion domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development and growth strategy aligned with the company's overall vision and goals.
- Identify, evaluate, pursue, and negotiate strategic partnerships and collaborations.
- Generate and optimize a robust pipeline of sales and growth initiatives, including new sales channels, market expansion, and strategic retail partnerships that align with brand strategy.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify markets, trends, and opportunities.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand distribution into new markets, both domestic and international.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with accounts, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Partner with merchandising, marketing, and logistics teams to appropriately support new initiatives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, strategy, or a related field.
- Experience within fashion or luxury retail preferred.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and proven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving business objectives.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- A passionate team player capable of working independently at all levels.
- Experience in international business and cross-cultural collaboration preferred.
