*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS campus (London or Nottingham) on occasion.

The role in a nutshell

As a Junior Designer in our UNiDAYS In-house Creative Agency you’ll have fun, be inquisitive and produce vibrant and performance driven work for UNiDAYS and our partners.

Creativity is essential to this role. Taking direction and reporting through to a member of the Senior Creative Team, you will be responsible for individual elements of our Social and CRM workstreams, as well as supporting our bigger member campaign road map, alongside other designers, whilst being very aware of current trends within the project scope.

You’ll be confident enough to contribute to the creative process ensuring good-quality, creative design work whilst developing an attention to detail and best practices, showing the ability to collaborate and fit in as part of the wider creative team understanding our team processes and ways of working.

Day to day responsibilities 

  • Producing good quality ideas for Creative campaigns and projects
  • Maintain consistency and quality when delivering creative
  • Developing understanding of how to creatively answer client briefs and the audience needs
  • Developing skills to contribute to design stages of campaigns, working closely with the project team
  • Developing cross functional collaboration abilities with relevant internal and stakeholders and departments
  • Developing skills to present creative ideas to all internal audiences
  • Begin to understand commercial awareness to justify creative ideas
  • Have a basic awareness of team and business strategy
  • Understand the importance of building relationships with other stakeholders
  • Starting to develop independent judgement on creative work 
  • Actively develops software and system skills
  • Show a proactive approach and eagerness to learn company systems, and ways of working i.e HTML email coding, work scheduling programs
  • Developing behaviours to influence others and creates camaraderie as part of the team
  • Puts the customer at the heart of what they do

  • Good attention to detail and understanding of creative standards
  • Keen to learn and develop skills and experience

What You Have Done

  • Experience within a creative role
  • Good at interpreting and responding to client briefs
  • Expanding skills, conceptualisation & visual communication with the ability to scamp ideas
  • Developing understanding of creative delivery in print and digital design for omni-channel campaigns
  • Good collaborator - working with Designers, Marketeers and copywriters
