*this role is open to remote working within the UK. Successful candidates will be required to travel to their closest UNiDAYS hub (London or Nottingham) on occasion.

The role in a nutshell

As the Head of CRM, you will be responsible for the delivery of all CRM activity globally, including the line management of the CRM team. You will work closely with commercial, marketing and the wider data and insights team in order to deliver priority initiatives that meet business objectives. You will also be responsible for the CRM strategy, performance and health of the database. 

Day to day responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the Global CRM Strategy for the business
  • Own CRM KPIs and drive ROI from our CRM capabilities
  • Own, plan and lead the roadmap for CRM; campaign execution, capability development and innovation
  • Regularly review CRM effectiveness against measurable KPIs and strategic goals
  • Lead, manage and develop the team of CRM experts
  • Work with the Commercial Team to deliver sold media campaigns and support the design of advertising packages
  • Work with the Marketing Team to deliver prioritised Member Initiatives to achieve member targets
  • Develop and execute the CRM triggers to develop members through onboarding, activation, retention and reverification
  • Work with wider Data & Insight team and vendor to ensure appropriate reporting is in place
  • Close collaboration with the marketing and Commercial teams to create, maintain, follow and optimise internal campaign processes
  • Provide expertise and guidance to Commercial, Marketing and Product on how to best leverage our CRM channels
  • Manage stakeholders needs of CRM and evaluate needs against company goals
  • Deliver marketing automation capabilities and create a culture of optimisation in our CRM
  • Take full advantage full capabilities of the CRM system and own the relationship with the CRM vendor
  • Own CRM budget 

What we need from you

  • Experience in managing CRM strategies to a large audience base
  • Experience in setting CRM KPIs and developing a results-driven approach to execution of the CRM Strategy
  • Experience in the use of sophisticated multi-channel marketing solutions with practical working knowledge of targeting, dynamic publishing, journey building, triggers, sequencing and a/b testing design and analysis
  • Experience in delivering CRM in multiple regions and building this up from scratch
  • Experience in using CRM to deliver against company goals
  • Experience in using CRM as a paid media channel and delivering against campaign targets
  • Experience in working with Commercial, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Data Insight teams
  • Experience of implementing and managing CRM platforms
  • Experience in managing CRM teams - both in developing their skillsets and managing their day to day delivery
