The role in a nutshell

 This role is a 9-month maternity cover fixed contract.

 The role involves developing and implementing the trade marketing and promotional strategy. Drives business KPIs, optimisation and alignment of marketing activity across channels. Leads and implements member-first strategy whilst enhancing commercial revenue streams and partner needs. 

Day to day responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for leading the marketing team which manages CRM, partner marketing, digital site/app content and campaigns
  • Implementing all partner activity across site
  • Supporting commercial team to drive ROI with partners
  • Guiding the team in researching and identifying data-led marketing initiatives to engage members and partners
  • Focusing on segmentation, automation and personalisation to increase retention and engage active members
  • Driving testing and optimisation to enhance member journey and inventory management across all platforms
  • Developing full marketing mix per channel and member. Right place, partner, period, position
  • Working collaboratively with all stakeholders across the business and help to manage the engagement end-to-end process
  • Working with the New Business team to help identify and develop vertical based on member insights, trade calendar and market trends
  • Collaborating with commercial to create partner revenue plans that drive high ROI
  • Influencing content strategy with trade marketing approach to drive member engagement
  • Recommending new products and solutions that drive member-first strategy and provides value to the business
  • Identifying and solving problems by seeking out the best business solutions
  • Leading, mentoring and coaching the team to develop and grow
  • You will evaluate and measure your own performance and seek feedback for continuous improvement. You also commit to regular check-ins with your line manager and to be proactive in completing your quarterly, Mid-Year and End of Year reviews to ensure your manager has enough time to complete before the deadline
  • You commit to check-in with your team of direct reports regularly and ensure that their quarterly, Mid-Year and End of Year reviews are all completed and signed off before the deadline set
