We are looking for a highly-skilled Web Analytics Engineer to join our growing analytics organization.. In this role, you will work closely with the web and marketing teams, gathering requirements and implementing solutions to meet their needs.  This will involve everything from integrating tracking into frontend and backend systems, to data warehouse modeling, to building customer-facing reporting to fulfill requirements.

COVID-19 Hiring Update: We’ve transitioned to a work-from-home model and were continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to be a fully remote position within the United States.  Onsite locations are available in the Los Angeles and Seattle areas for candidates looking for hybrid and on-site working options as well. 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete Web Analytics using Google Analytics and custom event solutions
  • Setup and update of game websites using Google Tag Manager
  • Gather requirements from stakeholders, design robust data pipelines with a focus on quality and scalability.
  • Provide thought leadership for Web Analytics
  • Design a desktop and mobile attribution system across Mythical’s portfolio of games. 
  • Extend the aforementioned to be used in conjunction with a mobile MMP (eg Singular)

Requirements:

  • A strong understanding of google analytics, frontend web architectures and tracking technologies like GTM
  • An understanding of GDPR tracking limitations, implementing cookies, and how best to work with them
  • Knowledge of MMP vendors such as Gamesight, Singular, …
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a technical field or appropriate experience.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in web and marketing analytics 
  • 2+ years of experience with PostgreSQL and a programming language (eg Python, Java)
  • 2+ years of experience with Cloud-based analytics tech (eg GCP, BigQuery, Airflow, dbt)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Drive and flexibility to learn and improve

Pluses:

  • Google Cloud  and/or Google analytics certifications
  • Analytic industry experience with video games and marketplaces
