Here’s what we’re looking for:

As our Medical Director at mySugr you will have responsibility for all medical and clinical affairs, providing medical oversight and decision making for all critical product issues. You will lead our work in scientific affairs and communications and be our liaison to the international scientific community. You will also be responsible to guide our product and diabetes coaches towards improving outcomes for patients as well as help to improve the clinical workflow. You will lead our medical and research department, conduct and design studies together with the international medical affairs team at our parent company, Roche Diabetes Care and communicate our learnings both at conferences and in publications. You’ll also assist in product safety regarding Risk Management and adverse events related to our products. 

You will be working in an agile and fast-growing startup company, embedded in the Roche group. You will help us through participation in key associations (medical, clinical, industry) to influence policy and regulations regarding our medical applications, devices and services. You will interact closely with key players in our team, as well as establish and leverage critical relationships with key opinion leaders at scientific conferences and advisory boards. Additionally, you will engage in strategic global projects related to research, medical education, medical communication and marketing, helping turn the vision of mySugr into reality.

Must haves:

  • Doctor of Medicine degree or comparable

  • Clinical background in diabetology, preferably with publications in peer reviewed journals

  • Understanding of medical devices & software

  • Knowledge in medical risk management

  • The confidence to work effectively with international key opinion leaders and health care professionals

  • Team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Adaptability and the passion to drive digitalization in medicine

Nice to haves:

  • Experience in international projects

  • Experience with clinical study design, health economics or medical statistics

  • Experience working in a digital environment

  • Experience developing broad business partnerships
