We are seeking Licensed Bilingual Health Insurance Agents
The focus of this position is working with and through others, building and maintaining relationships, and working closely and accurately within established guidelines. There is a need for an effective communicator, someone who is able to stimulate and motivate others while being aware of and responsive to their needs and concerns. There will be many different people to meet and work with. The person in this position must be friendly and genuinely interested in the business, agenda, and needs of others, including the company, its management, the team, the company's customers, or all of the above. A persuasive teaching style of communication is required to communicate the company's policies, programs, and systems. A faster-than-average pace will be the norm for this position. Detail work is a major focus of the job, and those details need to be handled quickly, correctly, and efficiently. This portion of the work will often focus on relationships with others; correct handling of details dealing with others is necessary to maintain and grow relationships. The job involves following up carefully, closely, and cheerfully is required to ensure both correct work and maintenance of the relationships. Necessary corrections must be made in a constructive, supportive manner. As time is usually a factor, the work must be done on time, as well as correctly. In general, this is a position where guidelines, structure, and established policies must be followed fairly closely while working with and for others.
Responsibilities
- Receive inbound calls from customers seeking information and guidance on health insurance options for the states you are licensed in.
- Engage in outbound sales calls to reach potential customers and introduce them to a variety of health insurance plans.
- Assess customer needs and recommend suitable health insurance plans based on their individual requirements and preferences.
- Enroll prospects in selected health insurance plans, ensuring a seamless and efficient enrollment process.
- Effectively quote, present, and close sales, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to overcome objections.
- Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects by making outbound calls to provide updates, address concerns, and close pending sales opportunities.
- Prioritize customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries promptly, and resolving issues efficiently.
- Receive and adhere to coaching from sales leadership.
- Comply with CMS standards while also understanding and adhering to CMS standards.
- Achieve daily, weekly, monthly, and annual sales and productivity goals.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM system, providing concise summaries of interactions.
- Demonstrate proficiency in using desktop computers, including Office applications, web browsing tools, and other company software.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager.
Qualifications
- Active and valid health insurance licenses in the states you will be serving.
- Minimum of 1 years of Sales experience
- Bilingual (English and Spanish)
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, ideally in the health insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and address customer concerns effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines and achieve sales targets.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and web browsing tools.
- Internet Speed: Minimum 80 mpbs download and minimum 20 mbps upload
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
- Hours: Flexibility to work between the hours of 9:00 AM EST and 9:00 PM EST, including weekends, based on business needs. Must be available to work extended hours during the Annual Enrollment period, October 15th to December 7th, 2024.
Telecommuting Requirements
- Ability to keep all company-sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a MyPlanAdvocate-approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.
Compensation
- Starting Pay: $18.00/hour plus uncapped commission and spiffs; compensation plan is reviewed during the interview (Opportunity to be increased based on performance and sales milestones)
- Average Annual Compensation of $70,000-$80,000, with top agents earning around $100K+.
