We are currently seeking a qualified, highly motivated, experienced individual for the position of Global Head of Brand and Digital Communications. The position is located in Basel, Switzerland.

Position Summary

The Global Head of Brand and Digital Communications will have the opportunity to lead the overall brand and digital communications strategy of this fast-growing company and establish Myovant as the global leader in women’s health and prostate cancer across corporate digital channels, including social media and web (e.g., Twitter, LinkedIn). He/she will report to the Head of Corporate Strategy and Advocacy and will be a member of the Corporate Strategy and Advocacy Leadership Team. He/she is an experienced communications executive and master storyteller who will be responsible for leading global brand and corporate communications to enhance Myovant’s reputation. He/she will be responsible for defining and leading corporate brand management and an integrated, best-in-class channel and content strategy across Myovant’s internal and external digital and social channels.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Define and drive Myovant’s global brand and digital communications strategy, in alignment with Myovant’s global corporate communications strategy and narrative
  • Develop and lead global corporate brand strategy, defining a brand architecture approach that enables other functions and creating brand assets and materials for different digital touchpoints
  • Identify strategic opportunities to advance Myovant’s digital communication footprint and elevate its corporate profile globally
  • Define metrics and measures of success to track progress of digital strategy implementation
  • Partner with other functions, including, Corporate Communications, Investor Relations, and Human Resources, to execute integrated communications strategies
  • Oversee implementation of the digital channel and content strategy, informed by industry best-practice and benchmarks
  • Oversee the management of global internal and external enterprise digital channels, as well as the development and approval of new channels in alignment with the domain strategy
  • Oversee the management of Myovant’s digital editorial calendar and ensure strategic links to corporate themes and narratives
  • Define and lead implementation of digital communication policies, procedures, and governance to manage digital channel performance and reputational risk
  • Ensure thorough compliance of digital content by collaborating with Legal/Compliance, Regulatory, and Pharmacovigilance
  • Oversee the management of all of Myovant’s external corporate websites, including
  • Oversee the management of website content development and the review and delivery process
  • Provide counsel and best practice guidance for Myovant-owned websites such as Disease Awareness, Brand, and Campaign websites
  • Oversee the management of global corporate social channels and team execution of social content strategy
  • Define and ensure alignment with the social content strategy in collaboration with wider organization
  • Establish and lead effective social community management guidelines and pharmacovigilance reporting responsibilities for owned external channels
  • Monitor and review performance of social content and paid/promotional strategy across Myovant’s global social media channels
  • Establish internal benchmarks based on historical data and industry benchmarks to evaluate performance of the digital strategy
  • Oversee the development and approval of new digital tools and platforms
  • Define and implement global policy/training to equip and enable employees to act as ambassadors on social channels and educate across the company
  • Lead and supervise direct reports with responsibility for global projects
  • Design and own the global budget for brand and digital communications



Education, Experience & Skills

  • Requires a BA or BS degree in communications, liberal arts, business or science-oriented field. MBA or other advanced degree desirable.
  • 10+ years in corporate communications, digital communications, or social media strategy
  • 5+ years in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Expertise in integrated digital communications and campaign planning, including development, execution, and measurement strategies in the healthcare industry
  • Strong project management capabilities to manage workflow and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, while meeting deadlines and executing on high-quality and compliant outputs
  • Demonstrated ability to present unique or complex ideas and strategies while also identifying opportunities and connections that others do not
  • Strong communication and presentation skills that exhibit professional maturity, confidence, and competence
  • Expertise in writing, editing, design, user-experience, social media management, full-stack technology architecture, and platform and data analytics
  • Deep understanding of technology with the ability to manage IT and technology partners
  • Demonstrated experience in crafting integrated, multi-channel digital strategies at a global scale, with a deep understanding of audiences and channels
  • Experience of working with C-suite level executes and proven record of building and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships – within teams, across the business, and with senior leaders and external agencies
  • Strong interpersonal and partnering skills and an ability to work effectively with multi-disciplinary teams and within a global company
  • Ability to coach colleagues and business partners in core digital communication skills, strategies, and best practices
  • Track record of successfully managing teams and experience of showcasing and executing leadership in a global and multi-cultural environment
  • Efficiently uses and promotes the full range of technologies required for the role while remaining open to learning and proactively adopting new technologies
  • A purpose-driven mindset with a high level of energy, initiative, and ownership



  • Ability to travel approximately 25% within Europe and to North America
  • Regularly required to operate standard office equipment
