Senior Manager- Seller onboarding

Role Overview:

Myntra is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our Vendor Onboarding team as a Manager. The Manager - Vendor Onboarding will play a crucial role in expanding our network of suppliers and partners, ensuring a seamless and efficient onboarding process, and maintaining strong relationships with existing vendors. This position requires a proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end onboarding process for new vendors, including initial outreach, negotiation of terms, documentation, and integration with internal systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Category, Logistics  and Operations, to streamline onboarding procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and standards
  • Develop and implement strategies to identify and attract potential vendors, leveraging market research, industry trends, and competitor analysis
  • Conduct regular assessments of vendor performance, addressing any issues or concerns, and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Analyze data and metrics related to vendor onboarding processes, identifying insights and areas for optimization

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Master's degree optional
  • Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, or supply chain operations, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry
  • Proven track record of successfully onboarding and managing vendor relationships, with a focus on driving results and exceeding targets
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent analytical abilities, with experience in data-driven decision-making and performance measurement
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with internal and external partners
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all aspects of work
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with vendor management software is a plus.
