brands in its kitty.


Roles & Responsibilities


Role:
 Building & Executing category strategy to Build Private Label brands, working closely with
internal cross-functional stakeholders across Category, Marketing, Site merchandising,
Operations, Analytics, Product & Design teams as well as building & maintaining excellent
relationships with the relevant brands/sellers/ MP Vendors.
 Own top line, as well as the bottom line for the accessories categories, drive revenue and
margins.
 Determine ever-evolving customer needs, monitor local and global trends & grow selection
to cater to those via onboarding necessary brands & Market place sellers.
 Work with marketing teams and MP partners to come up with innovative promotions as well
as to get support for marketing campaigns.
 Ownership to drive necessary initiatives end-to-end and ability to manage multiple,
competing priorities simultaneously


SKILLS:
 Advanced proficiency with MS PowerPoint, MS Excel (SQL preferred)
 Strong analytical skills with proven ability to interpret data and link category management
data to business scenarios.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:
 Category and brand specific growth plan.
 P&L planning at category, brand level. P&L Metric tracking
 Inventory planning and management aligned with sales and marketing plan, focusing on top-
sellers, to improve inventory turn and optimized discounting, DOH for entire category.
 Ensuring our top-sellers are in category/ sub-category sales ranks with good visibility and
discoverability.
 Assortment Planning – Data Analysis, Insights Generation, Options Planning (Width,Depth)
 Competition / Market Analysis.
 Category Health Management – STRs, DOH, Ageing, Portfolio Mix of Core / Fashion.
 Monthly Sales planning and execution – coordination with sales and marketing teams
 Team / Stakeholder Management - Working closely with buying, sourcing, brand, sales and
planning teams for delivery of business plans
 Projects– Driving key initiatives / projects for category growth and profitability improvement
across supply chain, planning, sales, etc.; Process Improvement across the value chain


Qualifications & Experience


 MBA from a reputed institute
 Over all 8 to 10 yrs of Experience. Minimum 5 years of Ecommerce category management
experience
 Experience in the Non Apparel category is preferred.
 Educational background or courses with Fashion Institutes will be added advantage
