Roles and Responsibilities

  • Seasonal concepts development rooted in the brand philosophy.
  • Research seasonal trends, product ideas, colours, prints, fabrics, and styling
  • Design innovative seasonal product ranges of T-shirt, shirts and jacket
  • Creating line-sheet based on seasonal concepts and with appropriate design /color/prints
  • Maintaining line sheets for seasonal range plans
  • Responsible for creating detailed tech-packs that illustrate design and construction details with high accuracy
  • Collaborate with Buying and PD teams for effective design development
  • Fit standardisation for the brand across category
  • Fabric/print/surface design follow up and approvals
  • Execute timely on seasonal calendar deadlines
  • Maintain and improve product quality by taking corrective step at ground level i.e. fabric, fit, wash, workmanship.
  • Contributing well researched ideas to support catalogue and marketing for the brand.

 

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4-6 years’ experience and Graduated from NIFT/Pearl
  • creative by nature, should have ability to come up with new and fresh ideas
  • Demonstrates high level aesthetics and creative ability with a strong understanding of youth lifestyle
  • Well rounded experience in relevant category design experience
  • Strong organisational skills and highly detail-oriented
  • Strong communication and articulation of ideas
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines and calendars
  • Ability to handle work independently with minimal supervision
  • High proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
