Myntra is expanding its social commerce play with a push on more content led selling on the Myntra platform. Over the last one year, Myntra has seen encouraging business outcomes from ramping its influencer and content led platform - Myntra Studio which has deployed thousands of influencers creating more than 10,000+ content assets so far. More such social commerce initiatives are in the pipeline to build a socially-proofed shopping experience and complement the traditional individualised shopping on the platform. Social commerce has recently been set up as an independent business vertical within Myntra to drive this.

 

About the Team 

This role is a part of the Social Commerce team at Myntra, responsible for content creation and acquisition for all our channels. This team works across all channels to drive buzzworthy innovations via content for Myntra. 

 

Roles & Responsibilities Role: This role is responsible for driving the content charter for Myntra’s Social Commerce Business. This role will be responsible for developing content ideas and acquiring content for Myntra Studio specifically.

 

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage the original content development and publishing calendar for Myntra Studio. 
  • Build content at scale for Myntra via content agencies to drive growth on the platform for this vertical.
  • Execute the curation and publishing strategy across influencer, brand and original content on the Studio platform.
  • Manage internal and external agencies to ensure timely delivery of content assets. 
  • Review performance of all social commerce content assets on Myntra Studio. 
  • Ideate to find newer content formats and plug-ins to drive higher engagement.
  • Anchor the communication and content + social charter for the vertical for sale events + brand and collection launches.

 

Qualifications & Experience 

  • 5-7 years of experience in content creation and delivery.
  • Min. 3+ years of experience in conceptualizing and creating short-form video content.
  • Min 2+ years of experience in the fashion/ beauty or lifestyle sector.
  • Having a  creative bent of mind, with ability to make data based decisions.
  • Cross functional team management skills to liaison with both external agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Background in fashion or beauty publications, digital platforms or short-form video companies is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills..
