About the role:

Mynd is seeking a Head of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) who will oversee the financial planning and analysis functions. This position plays a critical role in the development and implementation of financial, strategic and growth objectives aimed to provide long term profitable growth for the company. You must be a hands-on, roll up your sleeves type of leader and should enjoy a fast-paced, start-up environment. 

This role will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a world class finance management process including forecasting, planning, and management reporting
  • Apply an analytical approach to influence strategic decision-making with a focus on long-term financial planning
  • Provide financial analysis and commentary to important partners including Mynd’s board and management team
  • Partner with executives to drive accountability and performance improvement
  • Support fundraising efforts and manage the capital structure of the company
  • Develop and lead an impactful strategic finance team

Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of finance experience, including experience in finance and strategy in a corporate setting
  • Experience leading and developing a team
  • Experience designing and executing complex work streams
  • Experience with customer lifetime value (CLTV) and customer acquisition cost (CAC) modeling and planning
  • Experience in a dynamic start up preferred but not required
  • Intellectual Curiosity and analytical thinking
  • Familiarity with financial planning processes and business systems such as Adaptive Planning
  • Expertise in SQL or R is a plus
  • Consistent success and career progression
