We are growing rapidly and looking for a Talent Acquisition Manager to manage a small but mighty recruiting team remotely. You will bring ideas and best practices, influence, and create solutions that drive change and have measurable results across the entire company. With our exciting growth plans ahead, we are looking for a “player-coach” mindset and a manager who is excited to lean in and participate in full-cycle recruiting as needed. 


What You Will Be Doing

  • Lead, inspire, and grow a zealous recruiting team while driving a high level of performance
  • Build strong relationships across teams and serve as a partner before, during, and after the recruiting process
  • Contribute to defining full-time and contractor recruiting processes and training our teammates on how to best adapt to it  
  • Report recruiting metrics on a monthly and quarterly basis for the Chief People Officer, CEO, and CFO
  • Ensure background checks and pre-boarding tasks are completed by partnering with the IT team and Employee Experience Specialist 
  • Effectively communicate the MyFitnessPal mission, culture, and roadmap to a broad range of candidates, prospects, and industry professionals
  • Support our ongoing investment in building diversity and recruiting program
  • Act as a strategic point of contact in the recruiting process, being able to review and communicate recruitment data to MyFitnessPal executives and to your team

Qualifications to be successful in this role 

  • 7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with at least 1-2 years of experience managing a small to medium-sized talent team
  • Experience with a mix of technical and non-technical roles; you’ll be able to comfortably interact with executives as hiring managers
  • Full-cycle recruitment experience and can speak to it; you are a creative sourcer, empathize with candidates, confident closer, and always finding new ways to drive efficiencies everywhere in between
  • You have experience with varying types of compensation packages; you understand stock option packages and how they might compare between companies of different sizes and stages
  • Proven record of driving high-volume recruiting processes across multiple teams and levels
  • You are an expert with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Greenhouse and Greenhouse Onboarding and will be able to drive process improvements
  • Place a high value in clean record-keeping and data within an ATS environment; you not only use the ATS as a tracking tool but as a way to pinpoint areas of improved workflows
  • You view the relationship of Recruiting as a Business Partnership
  • Experienced in creative sourcing methods using different types of technology and are excited about using data-driven strategies
  • You are data-focused. You have a high level of proficiency in Google Sheets/Microsoft Excel and are able to review and interpret large sets of recruiting-related data
