Job Summary
The Enterprise Applications Analyst - D365 F&O will be responsible for design, configuration and implementation of the ERP system and other business applications in the organization. The position would be responsible for business requirements gathering, document process workflow, solution design, project management and overall delivery of the solution. The position would also be providing end-user support, creating training documentation and performing user training. This position will be responsible for collaborating with functional leaders, technical partners and vendors to ensure proper alignment and communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Gathers, analyzes, and documents business requirements to support the design and development of technology and/or process solutions.
  • Work with vendors and operational application owners to implement new initiatives.
  • Analyze, design, document, test, troubleshoot and coordinate new build, upgrades and changes to current solutions.
  • Performs technological feasibility studies for Software Systems implementations or enhancements.
  • Provide system support by answering questions, offering technical support, researching operational issues, and escalating more complex problems to the appropriate support groups. 
  • Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for key systems/processes in subject teams and day-to-day functions.
  • Develops and monitors controls to ensure appropriate availability and data integrity within all business applications. 
  • Collaborates and monitors processes and works with vendors to ensure optimal quality, system performance and swift delivery.
  • Performs project lead duties, including supervisory and/or managerial activities, in the coordination of the vendor team to successfully complete specified projects.
  • Coordinates involvement of personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
  • Must have the ability to create test plans, test scripts, conduct user acceptance tests, regression test and performance tests. 
  • Work with Application service providers and application vendor support personnel to drive projects and support issues to resolution.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to our other manufacturing plants and colocation facilities as needed.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng) from College or University in a technical area of study (Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Systems) or equivalent technical work experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in configuration and support of MS D365 – F&O or Business Central
  • ERP implementation experience with Finance, Supply Chain Planning, Sales Order Management, Procurement, or any other modules required.
  • Hands on experience with reporting and data analytics tools like SSRS & PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Workflow, Power Apps)
  • General Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies (MS SQL Server, MS .NET, MS SharePoint)
  • Experience of coding in AL, .Net is a huge plus. 
  • Knowledge of integration with 3rd party applications via REST/XML API's other vendor and customer endpoints preferred.
  • Ability to assess, optimize, design and document complex business processes and functions
  • Excellent presentation skills and ability to communicate complex ideas and processes to non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to bridge between functional and technical information and resources by communicating effectively Between business and technical resources and leadership.
  • Experience managing large ERP implementations across multiple business units.
  • Proven problem solving and analytical thinking and ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and multi-task efficiently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
