Mycoworks is growing fast.  We are looking for a Paris-based Account Manager with experience with luxury brands in fashion to work closely with current brand partners, create and cultivate relationships with new brand partners, and to bring an entrepreneurial mindset to our European operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop strong, effective relationships with internal and external partners that help identify opportunities to grow the business with current and potential accounts
  • Represent MycoWorks, Inc. as the main point of contact between MycoWorks and Brands
  • Lead client projects and allocate internal MycoWorks resources as needed to drive product development and product launches to completion. Cultivate relationships with new brand partners and convert existing warm and inbound inquiries 
  • Set expectations with clients and implement formal agreements
  • Work closely with accounts to create assortments based on selling history and current market trends
  • Identify and deliver new business opportunities with new and existing customers that drive revenue growth
  • Compile and maintain an order log and shipping information for all accounts and monitor daily for changes in distribution, deliveries and cancellations
  • Align brand consumer and customer strategies to achieve sales goals and profitable targets internally and externally
  • Interface with cross-functional client team; assign and follow up on strategic and tactical plans with product management, marketing and communication teams
  • Identify buyers needs and communicate to product team
  • Drive business through identifying key business opportunities with accounts
  • Work closely with internal teams to negotiate pricing and delivery
  • Manage buyer requests and sample process from pre-production through delivery
  • Planning and accountability for monthly and yearly projections by division and category
  • Facilitation of orders through confirmation process

Requirements:

  • Five-plus years of experience working with luxury fashion companies in a client-facing role
  • Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with textiles; leather preferred
  • Familiarity with the European luxury industry, in particular leather goods, accessories, and ready to wear
  • Passionate about exceeding corporate goals and driving business through excellent execution
  • Ability to understand current market trends and buying psychology
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Advanced analytical skills (i.e. highly proficient in Excel and retail math)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to travel internationally 30-40%
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word, Power Point, Excel
  • Proficient in G-Suite, Monday.com and Slack is a plus
  • Ability to pivot between ad-hoc assignments as needed
