As a core member of the People team, the Employee Engagement Partner will help build and lead a scalable framework to drive engagement, empowerment and a culture of belonging, fun, well-being and learning for every member of our diverse team. Our full employee engagement framework includes programs and systems for onboarding/offboarding, celebrations, learning and connection, enabling our employees to thrive and bring their very best, every single day. The EEP will partner closely with the Chief of Culture to align our engagement programs to company values and vision, using data to support the People team in creating outstanding retention results and empowering employees in their performance and career development. As our team grows, the EEP will ensure our engagement framework prioritizes diversity, equity and inclusion to enable equal opportunity for all to succeed. Balancing strategic ownership with tactical support of our engagement events and operations, the EEP will play a critical role in creating a vibrant and inspiring work culture, bringing positivity and creativity to every endeavor.   • Partner with Senior People Manager to continuously optimize and deliver programs that enhance full employee lifecycle
  • Own all recognition programs including birthdays, anniversaries and milestones, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure programs support our diverse team’s needs and accomplishments
  • Create and amplify engaging content and communications to support participation and dialogue across our hybrid, remote, clerical and manufacturing-based workforce
  • Support the execution of workplace practices to ensure a thriving and supportive culture that is aligned to company values and protects the safety, health and well-being of all
  • Plan and produce a robust and adaptable cadence of company events and both virtual and in-person engagement programming, including new hire social activities, team mixers, milestone celebrations, guest speakers and workshops, and more
  • Launch programs for impactful team-building and service opportunities to connect our team to our local communities and larger movements aligned with our commitment to equal opportunity, diversity and inclusion
  • Help build strategic plans to scale our values-aligned culture and engagement framework to worksites beyond the Bay Area
  • Maintain and evolve our inventory of cool engagement swag
  • Partner with People, Marketing and Communications to develop content and events to enhance recruitment and employer branding
  • Use engagement and survey data to identify and build action plans to improve and enhance employee experience and retention; familiarity with Culture Amp a plus
  • Track key metrics for program success and adapt with agility to achieve desired impact
  • Stay up to date on platforms, services, trends and topics around engagement to ensure our culture remains competitive in its offerings and priorities
  • Lead internal surveying and pulse checks to gather data for operational improvements and for Communications and Marketing initiatives

  • An enthusiastic, dynamic person who is passionate about creating an empowering, enriching workplace culture that enables individuals and full teams to perform at their best
  • Three to five years’ experience in an engagement-focused role on an HR or People team, preferably in support of a workforce that is diverse in identity, age and field expertise
  • Experience with manufacturing organizations is strongly preferred; experience with technology start-ups is a plus
  • Proven track record of building and implementing engagement programs and events with quantifiable measures of success
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive and execute in a fast-paced environment, leading multiple projects with multiple stakeholders and a high level of accountability
  • Rigorous attention to detail in planning, execution, reporting and tracking
  • Excellent communication skills, including active and compassionate listening, stellar writing and verbal skills; confident public speaker who can stay calm and flexible under pressure
  • Highly organized, committed to meeting deadlines and resourceful in finding solutions and adapting to change
  • A leader committed to service: you take ownership over projects with the goal of empowering your team and your collaborators; you work in service to the team and the company’s top level goals
