MycoWorks is seeking a Project Manager to support and bridge our Fine Mycelium Research and Development efforts with Process Engineering and Operations teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-pace, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous work environment. This role will require initiative, creativity, and cross functional leadership from early R&D all the way to the finished products.
Responsibilities
Coordinate and ensure internal and external resources for successful execution of projects
Develop comprehensive, however concise, project plans and get the buy-in from the key stakeholders
Measure project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques
Develop and manage the cross functional relationships
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and report to management as needed
Conduct project retrospectives and identify areas of process improvements
Other responsibilities may be necessary, as required by MycoWorks team members
Qualifications
Proven track record in project management delivering research and development to new product launches, or product renovations/improvement
Excellent internal and external written and verbal communication skills
Excellent skills in using any relevant software required
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
Master’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
Project Management Professional certification is a significant plus
