MycoWorks is seeking a Project Manager to support and bridge our Fine Mycelium Research and Development efforts with Process Engineering and Operations teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-pace, dynamic, sometimes ambiguous work environment. This role will require initiative, creativity, and cross functional leadership from early R&D all the way to the finished products. 

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and ensure internal and external resources for successful execution of projects
  • Develop comprehensive, however concise, project plans and get the buy-in from the key stakeholders
  • Measure project progress and performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Develop and manage the cross functional relationships
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and report to management as needed
  • Conduct project retrospectives and identify areas of process improvements
  • Other responsibilities may be necessary, as required by MycoWorks team members

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in project management delivering research and development to new product launches, or product renovations/improvement
  • Excellent internal and external written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent skills in using any relevant software required
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Master’s degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
  • Project Management Professional certification is a significant plus
