Company Overview

Most marketing teams can’t play a meaningful role in breaking through to target accounts because the 1:1 marketing strategies that work don’t scale, and what scales doesn’t work.

Mutiny helps B2B companies generate pipeline and revenue from their target accounts through AI-powered personalized experiences, 1:1 microsites, and account intelligence.

Our customers are some of the fastest growing companies in the B2B space including Snowflake, 6sense, Writer, Segment, and Qualtrics. We are backed by Sequoia Capital, Tiger Global, Insight Partners, and Y Combinator.

About the role:

We are looking for a strategic product marketer to join Mutiny’s growing product marketing team. As an early member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to make a big impact by leading product launches and shaping our narrative and the product roadmap as we define our category. Mutiny has an impressive roadmap planned for 2024, so it’s a great time to join as a product marketer!

Here are some things you’ll do in the next 18 months:

  • Develop a deep understanding of our customers, our product, competitors, and the market to help shape our product roadmap and market positioning.
  • Lead the go-to-market strategy for new features and products, including, messaging and positioning, value drivers, and pricing.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, sales, CX, and design to launch new products and features that inspire marketers to adopt Mutiny.
  • Partner closely with sales and CX to create winning collateral that resonates with all of our core personas.

What you bring:

The most important things to be successful in the role:

  • Clear, modern storyteller. You can identify the crux of our value proposition and simplify the pitch to its most critical and resonant essence in order to launch new products and raise awareness for Mutiny. You are a great writer who can write clear and compelling messaging on all channels — website, keynote decks, emails, etc.
  • Customer-first. You are comfortable in front of customers, you instinctively ask questions to uncover pain, and connect the dots between their pain and your product. You are constantly thinking about how to unblock selling your product, whether it’s in the form of better sales enablement, competitive positioning, or website messaging.
  • Turns research into insights: You are exceptional at synthesizing insights from vast amounts of market research, talking to customers, and diving into competitor products. You don’t get stuck in data analysis, and quickly arrive at a clear “so what” for how to adapt GTM strategy and positioning.
  • Skilled conductor: You have the cross-functional skills to drive results across every team you work with: product, marketing, sales, CX, design, and more. You have strong communication skills and have built processes for keeping cross-functional stakeholders in sync.

What we are looking for:

  • You have 4+ years of B2B product marketing experience, with 5+ years of total relevant experience (prior AI or martech experience is a plus).
  • You have led major product launches (bonus points if you have pricing and packaging experience).
  • You are organized with excellent project management skills and can effectively collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.
  • You have excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • You are energized by ambiguity and can create structure in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. A big plus for experience working at a high-growth startup (series A-D).
  • You have an exceptionally high performance bar for yourself and everyone on the team. Unafraid to communicate what’s working and what needs to change.
  • You are a kind human who wants to build an extraordinary product, culture, brand, and customer experience.

What you’ll get out of it:

  • You are joining a rocketship! We are backed by Sequoia Capital, Y Combinator and CMOs from some of today's fastest-growing tech companies including AngelList, Carta, Gong, Hopin, Salesforce, and Snowflake. We are growing incredibly fast and about to hit another inflection point. The potential is unreal. Join and you’ll see what we mean.
  • You will create a name for yourself by getting to work with and support some of the fastest growing companies in B2B SaaS.
  • You will get exposure to real business problems every company faces that you can take with you to start your own company (or to help scale another).
  • You will have fun, plain and simple. There is a reason our first company value is that work should feel like play.
  • You will experience a new way of working. Our team is fully distributed across North America and the EU. But we come together as a company for quarterly offsites (usually in super fun places like Hawaii and Salt Lake City). This combination of experience-based work is a competitive advantage we plan on leaning into.

These values define how we approach our work every single day:

  • Work should feel like play
  • Faster always wins
  • Stir the pot, regularly
  • Do the right thing when no one’s watching
  • All hands on deck
  • Live in the world you want to change.

We also believe in balanced teams, which is why we have maintained a 50% male to female ratio in our investors and are committed to maintaining diversity of gender, lifestyle, ethnicity and thinking in our team as we scale.

We are fully remote.

OMB Control Number 1250-0005
Expires 04/30/2026

Why are you being asked to complete this form?

We are a federal contractor or subcontractor. The law requires us to provide equal employment opportunity to qualified people with disabilities. We have a goal of having at least 7% of our workers as people with disabilities. The law says we must measure our progress towards this goal. To do this, we must ask applicants and employees if they have a disability or have ever had one. People can become disabled, so we need to ask this question at least every five years.

Completing this form is voluntary, and we hope that you will choose to do so. Your answer is confidential. No one who makes hiring decisions will see it. Your decision to complete the form and your answer will not harm you in any way. If you want to learn more about the law or this form, visit the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) website at www.dol.gov/ofccp.
