Museum of Ice Cream is seeking a creative and highly organized intern to assist with Project Management! We’re looking for high energy, can-do, strategic thinkers who are willing to play any role and take on any task.

This  internship runs from September 2019 through December 2019. Please only apply if you are available during the Fall Semester!

PROJECT MANAGEMENT INTERN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist our PM in all aspects of timeline and budget management 
  • Perform general office support, including day-to-day administrative tasks and work-related errands
  • Plan and schedule meetings with an agenda
  • Support the team to complete the assigned task by being self-managing the schedule to “get it done”
  • Be able to read architectural plans and drawings
  • Be open minded to learning, navigating and using the following software:
    • MS Project (beginner)
    • AutoCAD & Sketch-up or related software

WHO YOU ARE:

  • College student (3rd or 4th year) with a major in business, construction management, architecture, engineering or related field focused on project management 
  • Comfortable with working with tight deadlines 
  • Can take direction and changing gears quickly
  • Strong organization and communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively, eager to take on new challenges
  • Must be available at least 3 full days a week in NYC
  • Ability to embrace and live the company’s core integrity
  • Open-minded and always curious to learn and expand beyond your comfort zone
