Position Overview: As an AI Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and deploying AI models and systems that drive our products and services. You will work primarily with large language models (LLMs), voice synthesis, and automatic speech recognition (ASR) models. Additionally, you will utilize AI agent frameworks and real-time technologies to create and optimize intelligent agents.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain AI-driven real-time speech-to-speech agents by collaborating closely with product, design, and research teams
  • Ship low-latency, high-impact features that enhance our user experience.
  • Drive core improvements to our AI infrastructure, including optimizing large language models (LLMs), automatic speech recognition (ASR), and text-to-speech (TTS) pipelines.
  • Execute on major projects from concept to production, with a focus on delivering impactful features with measurable product outcomes.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to understand requirements and deliver AI-driven solutions that meet the needs of our AI strategy.
  • Preprocess and analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights and features for model training and evaluation.
  • Implement and optimize algorithms for performance, scalability, and efficiency.
  • Monitor and maintain AI models and systems in production, ensuring their accuracy and robustness over time.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in generative AI and machine learning technologies, and integrate them into existing systems.
  • Conduct research to explore new AI techniques and methodologies that can benefit the organization.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience as a software engineer.
  • Experience building and deploying real-time AI applications.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and statistical methods.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Strong Candidates:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Physics or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks like LangChain.
  • Experience with WebRTC
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.
  • Experience with natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, or reinforcement learning.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
