We are searching for a Marketing Lead to join the Muon Space team. As Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a Marketing Strategy for Muon Space. Marketing activities include Social, Web, Product, Media and Events. This position will be responsible for creating an integrated marketing plan to achieve marketing company goals. This position will also be responsible for creating compelling marketing and promotional content for the company (including social posts, blogs, brochures, promotional material, and website). The Marketing Lead will oversee marketing contract support.  

About this Role

As Marketing Lead, you will be responsible for defining, and establishing and measuring impacts of all marketing activities. The Marketing Lead will work closely with the Sales organization ensuring that Marketing activities support Sales objectives.

Location: This position can be located in Mountain View, CA, Northern Virginia, or Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define overall integrated marketing strategy and plan across all content disciplines.Set key objectives, measure and report on impacts.
  • Generate, edit and share engaging content.
  • Manage marketing support organizations.
  • Collaborate with other teams to include Sales, Engineering and legal to ensure brand consistency, tone, voice and terminology.
  • Perform research on current benchmark trends and audience preferences, and create an actionable plan
  • Create product line marketing materials 
  • Create media engagement strategy and oversee Press Releases and other media activities
  • Plan for and execute event exhibits to include supporting material, booth design and overall event planning coordination. 
  • Supervise all aspects of social media interaction between customers/followers and the company, communicate with followers, respond to queries promptly, monitor customer reviews, and ensure a positive social media experience
  • Manage social media accounts’ design, and suggest and implement new features to develop brand awareness
  • Stay current on technologies and trends in marketing, design tools, and applications
  • Ensure progress on all platforms by using analytical tools such as Google Analytics and others
  • Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
  • Conduct high-quality research and interviews
  • Propose copy concepts and present underlying strategic thinking to business leaders
  • Drive brand consistency across all company communications
  • Write original copy and edit content for a range of corporate marketing, product marketing, and communications materials
  • Edit and proofread copy as needed; use SEO principles to maximize copy’s reach

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, English, or a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience working as a marketing manager, or other related position
  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a diverse team environment
  • Excellent copywriting skills and hands-on experience in content management
  • Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office and Adobe
  • Solid knowledge of SEO and internet ranking for web content, keyword research, and Google Analytics
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to effortlessly utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach
  • Analytical and multitasking skills, familiarity with web design, and knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Ability to self-govern with minimum supervision, establish workload priorities, and utilize efficient time management practices to achieve assigned task

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with aerospace or space industry marketing. 
  • Experience working with a diverse set of Commercial, U.S. Government DoD, IC and Civil customers.

This position may include access to technology and/or data that is subject to U.S. export controls pursuant to ITAR and EAR. To comply with federal export controls, all persons hired must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, refugee or asylee as defined by 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3), or must otherwise be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or U.S. Department of Commerce as applicable.

Salary: The salary range for this role is $95K- $155K and will depend on a candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience as defined during the interview process.
