The MullenLowe Momternship is an opportunity for moms who have stepped away and want to either re-enter the workplace or re-invent themselves in a new pursuit. A Momternship is a short-term placement (starting on September 6th) with flexible hours and the ability to work remotely.

A Momternship is comprised of:

  • Technology Training - we will take the edge off with up-to-date modern-day technology bootcamp. It sounds painful, but it’s not. Microsoft Teams, Slack, PowerPoint – a helpful overview that will make you feel confident and comfortable.
  • Lunch and learn sessions that provide Moms with insights into resume writing, understanding social media, building resistance, managing your personal brand, and understanding a healthy work/life balance.
  • An Understanding the Advertising Workplace brunch hosted by department leaders to establish how and where you fit in.
  • A two-month placement as a team member. Participating, learning and actively shadowing team members.
  • Mentorship and networking opportunities
  • Annual HeyMama Membership – the nation’s largest and fastest-growing online community of entrepreneurial and working mom
  • Backup childcare support through UrbanSitter

Based on the functional departments we have at MullenLowe, can you share an area you might be interested in and how your life experience supports this?

Account Management- is about more than just client service (although we do that, too). As the connector between clients, partners, and the agency, everyone in Account Management is required to be hyper-adaptable and flexible, offering thoughtful builds in creative development, passionately selling through a campaign, mediating between different points of view.

 

Creative- we put creativity at the center of everything we do. We are a culture of makers who are committed to our craft and always hungry for what’s next. We are entrepreneurial in spirit, disarmingly honest and embrace out of the box thinking with different points of view. 

 

PR- At MLPR, we are on a mission to relentlessly deliver an “earned edge” for our clients. Because we’re housed within a creative network, we put creativity at the heart of what we do. It is in our DNA. We're also connected, media-savvy PR pros. This powerful combination of creative ingenuity and earned media mastery produces breakthrough, business driving ideas for our clients.

 

Operations- we focus on the production process that is completed from start to finish. Usually, the processes need to line up of with goals or functions of other departments within the organization.

 

Strategy- utilizes their understanding of the motivations, beliefs and behaviors of a brand’s target audience to create compelling propositions and strategies that inspire meaningful creative work.

 

Human Resources- is both the people who work for a company or organization and the department for managing all matters related to employees that are the most valuable in the organization.

 

Finance-Focuses on managing budgets, P&L and working on companywide expenses month end closing, reporting, audits, Sarbanes Oxley compliance and general accounting activities.

 

New Business- Focuses on getting more diversified business opportunities with new clients and to further grow the business

 

Behavioral Sciences- Focuses analytic rigor and data-driven insight to guide the development and execution of marketing strategies for clients. Specifically, we develop strategic campaign methodologies and performance insights to inform planning/strategy, maximize marketing ROI across channels, and leverage behavioral data to ensure all work is consumer centric.

 

Production-Focuses on being self-motivated, punctual, highly organized and calm under pressure.  You will play a significant role in the evolution of our internal production capabilities as we continue to push the boundaries of production in creative and efficient ways.
