The Project Management Team is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing and facilitating the workflow of all of the agency’s work, from beginning to end, in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring all projects are executed on time and within budget. Projects range from a single print ad, OOH, etc. to integrated brand campaigns.
The Senior Project Manager works in conjunction with all other agency teams – account, business affairs, creative, production, finance, PR, social and strategy. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for coordinating all of the information provided by each department, communicating that information to all team members, and raising any potential issues regarding budget, timing or resources. They work closely with the account and finance teams regarding the SOW/retainer fee and project fees for their accounts.
The Senior Project Manager manages projects across all mediums – print, OOH, social, digital, collateral, video/TV, radio, events/activations, etc. - as well as for overseeing the creation of logos and brand guidelines with the design department.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Partners with the account team to scope client retainers
- Drives internal process and committed to executing jobs to the highest quality standards.
- Manages the administrative setup required to establish projects within our systems.
- Develops project timeliness and helps to scope jobs for client's longer-term needs.
- Works with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to the timeline for overall project completion.
- Coordinates internal project meetings and reviews, ensuring speedy and clear next steps for all parties and depts.
- Coordinating the building and quality control of all related presentations.
- Coordinating monthly financial reconciliation of staff hours and related fee.
- Driving the management and upkeep of the Digital Asset-Management system with the local Digital Asset Manager
- Work closely with Creative teams and Designers on the development and craft of all creative thinking.
- Manage internal reviews and ensure clarity of communication for next steps across all parties, and committed to executing jobs to the highest quality standards.
- Ensuring the complete integration of other departments and resources throughout the development process, and into formal production.
- Leading project management efforts on New Business when needed.
- Works with the creative manager to obtain creative resources.
Qualifications
Success in this role looks like:
The successful candidate has the ability to juggle multiple projects and should be driven, detail-oriented, amicable, a strong collaborator and hungry to do great work.
- Four-year degree or equivalent experience.
- 3 - 5 years of experience in an agency or similar environment is a plus
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Candidate must be energetic, organized, extremely proactive and ready to solve issues- Professionalism and an effective communication style is a necessity in this position.
- Ability to educate others on the processes and duties of the creative services team, acceptable expectations, and delivery turnaround times, is imperative
