About the Role 

The rise in short-form, vertical content poses a unique opportunity and challenge for the MrBeast company. The vertical platforms team is specifically focused on thinking forward about these changes in media. The Content Strategist on this team will deliver fresh, engaging content that is centered around our brand and pushes the boundaries of what is possible. 

Our ideal candidate for this role will have an in-depth understanding of emerging trends, with a strong emphasis on TikTok and YT Shorts. They will be grounded in key audios and familiar with up and coming creators. Their knowledge and skills will then be applied to purposefully create viral content.

If the candidate wants to exceed our expectations, they will understand how to best facilitate growth through creating systems and formats that can live agnostic of each short-form platform and are forward thinking in how these platforms will shape the future of content. An exceptional candidate will continue to push the MrBeast brand into new avenues. 

What you'll be doing:

  • Storyboarding and creating detailed mock-ups that will be submitted to Head of Vertical for approval
  • Coordinating with the social team to facilitate that the creative vision is met during production decisions, this will include but will not be limited to: purchase decisions, sourcing materials, and scouting film locations 
  • Concepting deliverables for brand integrations across social media
  • Working cross-functionally with other departments and entities (MrBeast YouTube, Philanthropy, MrBeast Burger, etc) to conceptualize and integrate short-form assets 

What makes you a fit:

  • Obsessed with TikTok Trends and Virality
  • Knowledge of the ever-changing influencer ecosystem 
  • Strong proficiency in editing softwares on both mobile and desktop
  • In-depth understanding of using DSLR cameras for photography and videography
  • Humility. You will need to have a willingness to learn and grow. We need to be able to mold and teach you
  • Willingness to be a part of a team. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to change directions quickly
