As Operations, Director Firefox you will lead the execution of operational business strategies outlined by the Firefox Leadership team. This includes the management and development of an operations team that is fully aligned to the Firefox product group strategies and strategic imperatives.
As a team, we understand that operations teams can naturally stray toward misaligned incentives. As we design an operations team to execute against today's constraints, we are also cultivating a forward-leaning product group even as it challenges our operational processes of today. At scale, this means that even small changes that improve efficiency can create uncertainty for an entire operations team—as it may require rethinking entire roles.
We're envisioning a team that embraces tomorrow's challenges, and doesn't fall into, this trap. Supported by the Product Lead, Firefox Desktop this role will partner to build a resilient, adaptable and growth mentality operational team.
In this role, you will be accountable for proposing organization design and scalable ad, distribution, and ecosystem operations team, and align and integrate partner initiatives into our scorecards such as from the Mozilla marketing team. In addition, you'll help build a forward-thinking team, staffed through an adaptive mix of full-time employees, contract staff augmentations, and 3rd party partnerships.
You'll also define and authoring operational policies that are fair to partners and map to scalable operations teams.

- 12+ years of work experience in strategy and operations roles in a multitude of corporate operations roles such as account management, customer success, sales, and channel development.
- Experience organization designing as a manager of managers.
- Experience piloting and scaling new operational capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial experience launching/growing a business.
- MBA degree.
- Scorecard development and management.
- 5+years of demonstrated experiences within management consulting firm, corporate strategy, or business operations role at a firm generating over $300M in annual revenue.
- Experience creating impactful strategic insights using business analytics and presenting findings and recommendations in compelling written documents and slide presentations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence multiple cross-functional partners at all management levels.
