As a seasoned UX/UI design professional your next position must provide an environment where your expertise and efforts are integral to the expansion of the company. At Movoto, an online leader in the Real Estate industry, we are seeking an entrepreneurially minded experienced Principal UX/UI designer who wants to make a significant impact on the success of the company by helping our customers make the biggest financial decision of their lives - buying or selling a home.

Based out of our San Mateo office, you will work closely with our creative and innovative design team, product management and engineering teams and report directly to the VP of Product. Your primary mission will be to create seamless user experiences from high level concepts, interaction designs, and visual designs through prototyping.  You have an eye for simple, intuitive design and have a history of delivering customer friendly, pixel perfect and brand consistent experiences across platforms for consumers.  You are transaction and conversion focused with proven results designing for an e-commerce business.  

Your expertise and ability to create engaging, innovative, easy-to-use solutions that address complex business and user needs from concept through production ready assets will be crucial as you work on some of the company's most strategic projects designed to increase leads and conversion.  Your efforts will touch both responsive web applications as well as mobile for both iOS and Android. Ethnographic research, A/B testing and collaborating with a diverse,  agile, interdisciplinary team will be part of your daily work life. 

Your portfolio will demonstrate sophisticated UX/UI designs created with your toolkit which includes Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator and Invision.  You are also very comfortable with CSS and HTML5.  If you thrive on understanding what makes an experience good or bad, can think through user problems, find reasonable solutions, mock them up in detail, and work with engineers to build them, then this role is a fit for you.  If this sounds like the perfect fit for you then apply today!
