Mountainside is hiring a Part-Time Gym Attendant

Who We're Looking For:
Someone energetic, enthusiastic, and client-driven. Someone passionate about the Mind-Body-Spirit connection and the impact of physical wellness on the overall wellbeing of an individual. Someone comfortable working in teams with different backgrounds and have expertise in wellness activities and yoga.
Schedule:
- Saturday and Sunday: 5:45 am - 8:00 am
- Saturday and Sunday: 4:15 pm - 7:15pm
Your Role:
- Provide great customer service; must be passionate in physical fitness and wellness techniques.
- Provide information and answer questions about available programs
- Notify staff and supervisor over any client issues or concerns
- Enforcing all rules that pertain to the fitness and exercise areas on a constant basis
- Demonstrate an understanding of all equipment
- Maintain all aspects of facility gym – cleanliness of equipment and areas and proper reporting over damaged equipment.
- Work as a Climbing Wall attendant and supervises all climbers for safe practices
- Facilitates yoga, meditation and all spiritually oriented programs as training and experience allows
- Document and individualize all group notes utilizing approved Sigmund procedures by the end of each shift
- Ensure proper tracking of client attendance in wellness offerings
- Comply with all federal, state and accreditation regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Baseline knowledge of body mechanics and physiology
- Certified Personal Trainer Preferred
- Ability to document in a timely and accurate manner
- Computer Competencies
- Possession of or the ability to obtain First Aid/CPR/AED certification within first 30 days of employment
Compensation:
The base salary for the position is $16.00 to $20.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
